Our Ministry Team
 

	Pastor Phil Taylor Phil Taylor has been the senior pastor of Carbondale Assembly since 1985. He began his association with Carbondale Assembly when as a teenager he moved with his family to Tulsa’s Westside and began attending the church in 1967. Formerly the Associate Pastor, he has been on staff since 1975. Pastor Taylor holds a BA and a MA from Oral Roberts University and a MS from Oklahoma State University. A gifted author, preacher, teacher, and musician, Pastor Phil’s ministry connects with all ages.
	Mike Atkinson Mike is our associate pastor of administration and finance having rejoined our staff in March 2009.  He brings many years of business and accounting experience along with being an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.  Mike and his wife, Tammie, our nursery coordinator, are both Evangel graduates and began attending Carbondale in 1994.
	Dan Wootton Dan became a part of our ministry team in May of 2005. He is a talented musician and writer. He serves as our Music Pastor coordinating not only worship, but leading the choir and orchestra as well. Dan graduated from Central Bible College in May of 2005. He and his wife, Mandy were married in October 2005.
	Brian White Brian is our College and Young Adult Pastor. He and his wife, Shawna, came on staff in May of 2008. Brian holds a Masters of Divinity from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and a BA from Evangel University. They have previously served as Student Director of First Assembly in Overland Park, Kansas and Residence Director at Evangel University.
	Jeff Walker Jeff joined our team in October 2005. He and his wife, Maresha, serve as our Youth Pastors. They have been involved in youth ministry over 14 years. They previously served congregations in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
	Brittany Calvert Brittany joined the Carbondale Staff in May 2009, serving as our Assistant Youth Pastor.  She is a graduate of Evangel University and has a heart to see teens realize their potential to do great things through Christ.  Brittany and her husband, Luke, met in the Carbondale Youth Group in 2000 and married in September 2006.
	Sandi Casey Sandi and her husband, Don, met and married here at Carbondale over 40 years ago. She has worked in various departments in the church on a volunteer basis. Sandi now serves our Volunteer Coordinator. They are parents to two grown daughters and grandparents of five.
	Phyllis Yandell Phyllis began attending Carbondale in 1981.  She became a part of the staff in 1992.  Since that time she has served in various administrative positions.  Currently she helps to coordinate the media and communications needs of the church and serves as Pastor Phil’s assistant.
	Paula Taylor Paula has been a part of the administrative staff the longest.  Beginning part-time in 1987, she transitioned to full-time in 1995.  Paula is the financial administrative assistant.  Besides working full-time at the church, she faithfully serves our congregation alongside her husband, Phil.
	Karen Graham Karen and her husband, Mike, have attended Carbondale since 2000. She has a heart of encouragement and enthusiasm for the youth of Carbondale. She joined our administrative staff in 2003.
	Nedra Parmley More than likely, when you call the church office you’ll hear the kind voice of Nedra. She has served as our receptionist since 2004. Nedra and her husband, Clay, are longtime members of Carbondale.
	Susan Sanders Susan joined our administrative staff in May of 2004. She has years of administrative skills and experience and always has a sweet spirit and willingness to help others. She and her husband, Ken, have attended Carbondale over 20 years.
